Children's pre-Christmas party at Damansara Village@PJ

Here's an update on the pre-Christmas dinner for the kids from the Chempaka Welfare Home last night.

A total of 12 children came. There was supposed to be 13 but the youngest of the group Jing Hao was ill with H1N1 flu and could not come. He is recovering well. All the children enjoyed themselves and were entertained by a clown balloon sculptor who was sponsored by a generous friend.

Actually, since the event was publicised on FB so many generous Malaysians came forward with offers of gifts for the children's Christmas. And to all of you, please allow me to say a big THANK YOU on behalf of the children.

Our grateful thanks to:-
BH Tan, Oscar, Elizabeth Wong, Chet Chin, CH Low, Dave & Maureen, Rose Mei Kuei, Sakinah & friends, Mama Min, Laura & Adam and all the other generous Malaysians who contributed to making it a Merry Christmas for the children. Terima kasih banyak banyak.

 The children's ages range ...are 3 (1 person), 7 (3 persons), 8 (2 persons), 9 (2 persons),
10 (2 persons), 11 (2 persons), 15 (1 person).

If you'd like to participate and make this a memorable Christmas for these children come join us on that evening.
Bring along a gift for the children. It need not be a big gift. Anything that you think children of that age will enjoy opening for Christmas. Toys, books, candy, ang pows etc.
Come. The children will be so happy and surprised to see you.
Thank you and have a Merry Christmas.
